Soccerwise Football Coaching Scheme

Soccerwise is a Football Coaching Scheme established in May 1998, with its base in the South Manchester and Trafford area.

Having completed five years working with the Altrincham & District F.A. This scheme enables us to deliver Football Coaching in 12 local Trafford Primary Schools as part of the National Curriculum.

Altrincham & District Football Association (ADFA) and Altrincham Football Club (AFC) have recently initiated a joint venture to provide free football coaching in local primary schools. Both these bodies view this as the most effective way of providing opportunities for a large number of children within the local community to both develop football skills and exercise.

The coaching scheme will operate in curriculum time, with the coaching delivered by Soccerwise, an established local football coaching organisation.

We also run an extensive After-School coaching programme at: Sports Clubs, Leisure Centres and local Primary & High Schools.

We support a number of Junior Football Clubs, with weekly training and weekend matches, for both boys & girls teams.

‘Football Fun Weeks’ in the school holidays are a key part of our work and are always very well supported and enjoyed by both the players and coaches alike.

Soccerwise has developed into a well established coaching scheme working to a high standard of product delivery recognized by the F.A. the Local Education Authority & Sports Development.
